Kuwatch is a keeper

Boy reminds me of Luke in his first rookie camp.
This kid will bring energy and will be a keeper.

From watching the second half of the game, I was impressed with him. He definitely is a passionate player and one I look forward to seeing mature over the next couple of seasons.

I like Kuwatch's body of work. Metchie's , Reese's, and Horn Jr all made a case to make the 53.

Including the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, rookie linebacker Jackson Kuwatch has recorded 13 total tackles (5 solo, 8 assisted) across his three 2026 preseason appearances for the Carolina Panthers.... Luke by the way had 5 and 12 his first preseason (4 games)....yes, I had to look it up. And while this guy will never be a LUKE (don't say never).... he brings the same kind of energy, put an helmet on someone and has ran sideline to sideline just like Luke did back in 2012. I have also been impressed with his drop back coverage skills...I really think this kid has the opportunity to develop into a very very solid piece.

Kuwatch is a bit of an enigma (to me..). Wasn't highly sought after coming out of high school. Walk-on at Ohio State where he languished for two years before transferring to the Miami Redhawks (???). Five (5) years in college ball with very limited success. Finally a bit of a 'breakout' year in 2025 but no real national recognition except for an invitation to the East-West Shrine game. Panthers selected him in the 7th round...

He has the physical attributes but needs a lot of coaching (and probably time as well..). I suspect that he will end up on the PS, if he makes it at all. I WOULD definitely like to see him playing for the Panthers. I like his style and attitude. I'm just not sure where he fits right now...???

Reese had the highest pff grade verses the Jags yet I don't see anyone mentioning him. I thought he was simply great verses the Jags.

Interesting article… It mentioned something about no UDFA prospect for this year, then proposed Reese as “it”.

What about Haynes King.?? He was a UDFA —- right.?? Yes, I know he was… This guy is smoking left-handed cigarettes….. But it IS an interesting article.
