Bryce is a nice kid, but I don’t think he has enough mean streak to make himself better. He’s a positive kid, but he doesn’t have that umph to make him want it. You give him that chip on his shoulder, he’d be something, but he don’t have it. He’s a hell of a talented kid, he’s just in a happy meal serving.

I am now in the "no fifth year option/move on  camp.  Sign Sam Howell and look for a gem in the draft (not going to be a 1st rounder).  Sam will either win the battle out of camp or will take over by game 43or 4.

Can you imagine the downfield passing with Howell?

I can imagine downfield passing with Bryce.  Trouble is, that's ALL I can do with Bryce..... imagine.   Dodgy

But, as stated in the "Book of Panthers: 4th and 21", "Yea, though we draft in the top ten, merrily we shall see no hero.  He shall drudge and drudge, and though his smile shall light a room, his play shall dim the Lights of yonder Stadium.  Behold the Bryce".

I figure, until we have a better option, we need to sign him for the 5th yr option.
Where as Canales is helping him grow, it can also be said poor play calling is also hindering Bryce . Was it last week we rushed the ball like 9 times ? How is that helping Bryce when the offensive line is beat up and injured ?

Both of them are making poor choices that even fans can see and it’s not hind sight.

Question, if we sign Bryce to a 5th year option, isn’t it at a lower dollar amount ? Makes trading him possibly easier ?

I had read it was like 26.5 million subject to being higher. Like if he makes the pro bowl which it seems everyone does these days. That pushes it to like 40 million which was basically his amount over the first four years.
