.....Like a fat kid in dodge ball.
Both the Raiders and the Falcons have requested to interview him for their Head Coaching positions.
So, if he goes, who do we grab??
Don't think he has earned an HC job. Heck...after the last drive I do not want him as DC.
Prolly Rooney Rule interview.

It more than likely was, but many thought Canales hadn't earned a HC position last year before we hired him. Anything is possible.
Just like Bryce , Evero sometimes gets blame when in truth its not always his fault.
I was screaming at the TV when the rams had 2:39 left not to play prevent defense , to blitz some how to rush Stafford. Well, we didn't .
But I also have be yelling that we don't have NFL starting Line backers for over 3 seasons. They can't cover anyone, and they rarely get home on a blitz. I hear so many wanting us to draft an O. Lineman , especially with Ekwonu maybe missing a lot of next year.
o Well every team in the NFC South is a solid choice to be the NFC South champion next season. Evero has not had the personal that Canales has had on offense. Yet we saw huge improvements for the year before ,, a lot to due to #95 Brown.. give Evero some players. Defensive Ends and Line backers.. Free Agents too ,, not a 7th round rookie pick.
According to PFF ( for what ever that's worth,) we don't have a Linebacker ranked in the top 32 ..
I got more concerns with Dave's game planning and play calling than Evero's

According to Canales: Evero is still under contract and WILL remain here next year. He will not be fired. OTOH, if another team “poaches” him for a HC, that’s a different story. Because Panthers Defense has not been “all that” (although better this year) — I suspect that the other teams’ interest is largely academic (Rooney rule). I really don’t think he’s a serious candidate.

I was on YouTube last week watching some of the 2015 season highlights including Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis. It was like Professional League compared to Community College Ball against what our team has looked like over recent years.
Nobody hits like those dudes. Nobody in the secondary hits like those dudes. It's just "different" now, and not a "good different"
Playing not to lose is always a guarantee you will. Giving Stafford all the dinks and dunks he wanted was not the way we should have ended the game.

Yep ... pretty much. With two minutes left in the game and the lead, the best way to WIN is to keep doing whatever it was that got you where you are. It's a piss-poor time to be changing Defensive scheme. Or methodology, or attitude. As much as we improved, we still suck at planning. That process is a losers mentality.

Evero came a long way from the beginning of the season where I wanted him gone every week. I think he’s a decent coach, but our pass rush is terrible. We are like a bottom 5 team when rushing the passer, WHICH means alternately, if and when we get some pass rushing chops, our Defense honestly can be transformed overnight.
