When can we talk about those three timeouts, I guess we are carrying them to next season. I’m surprised the way they were moving we were not aggressive. It’s like we played the end of the game to not lose, which is what losers do, than trying to win.

With Steelers now without an HC, I can see Evero gone in one of these places.

Good point.  The D looked night it needed to catch their breath and regroup.  In hindsight would have also been better to save some time.  Another team (maybe the Bills) played it the same way the Panthers did and won. Even though no one will say it...may wish it had been played differently.

I may be wrong but I believe it was the 49ers game and they did call one timeout when the clock hit the minute and then you have turnover on down. The Jags actually only had one play on the final series and it was an int. (I could be wrong but I watched he’s them all And this was the only one I remembered that was
Similar)

I was just yelling when the rams were moving it so easily for us to us our timeouts to save us a little time had they scored. And as you mentioned to catch our breath. This was, again in my opinion, gross mismanagement of the clock. Even if we stopped them they only had 2 timeouts when that drive started the odds were overwhelming we could have ran the clock out had we stopped them.

It’s the little that separates winners from losers. Just like I have since multiple overhead camera footage of wideouts open deep… I can only assume Bryce just can’t throw the ball far enough.

Unpressured he can throw it far enough, I don’t think that’s his problem.  I think when pressured up the middle, he just can’t SEE them.  It also takes him a moment to set up to throw tha far, and he don’t have it.  He is a sharp kid, he knows football.  Great mind for the game, but his own physical limitations are what cost us more than not.

Much respect BCF but our first series of going for it on fourth down and not making it, Mr intelligent threw the ball away… I literally mean, and clearly everyone could tell, he threw it away.

So the rams got the ball at our line of scrimmage…not even an attempt toward a wide receiver or even an interception would have been “better”. So but I beg to differ on Bryce’s football IQ, this was the playoff game but it wasn’t the first time this year much less prior. That was a stupid football play giving us zero chance On Fourth Down. (By the way, the Rams took this bonehead move by both Canales for going for it and by Young for simply throwing it way, to capitalize on a half field for a touchdown).

Now I do think he is a nice guy, just not football smart and clearly still has a hard time of reading a defense. But again only my opinion but I clearly disagree about his football intelligence. .
