Everybody keeps comparing Brooks return to a possible Thomas Davis like situation. That’s not a fair assessment, a running back is different than a linebacker in many ways. A linebacker does not have people gunning for him, hitting him below the belt sideways, knocking him sideways, falling on him, pushing him into other people, none of that a running back has heavier, stronger, faster, people to deal with on an average than a linebacker. That’s why they get hurt more. That’s why it’s really hard to come back from ACL or Achilles injury as a RB. Running backs and linebackers are different different positions to a reason it takes a different type of strength and different type of movement. Some is comparable, most, however is not.
