#1 i can see him playing a little ST like kickoffs but that is probably it… if even that. He really needs to take this off season and work on his skills, using his body better and of course his feet. He is not going anywhere because Morgan is not going to look bad by trading him, a traded for first rounder for probably a fifth rounder at best.
Now i think it’s important and fair that we also
understand he hasn’t had a QB throwing him the ball also, i saw two overhead shots where he had his man beat downfield against the Rams and either Young couldn’t throw it that far or
he didn’t see him. if XL had one thrown to him and he caught we wouldn’t be having this discussion.
#2 CSW… never a safety. He is a very good tackler but is not good in coverage. back up cb at best. in my opinion. but he sure can tackle them after he allows them to catch it.
#3 Brooks, not a clue but not a lot of hope anyways. i thought we wasted a pick taking a RB with an acl… now he has two…i have zero expectation even if canales wants to sugar coat. even if he plays i will always hold my breath if he cuts back.
going to have to add LT to the needs now, probably top of the list. edge, lb maybe times two, CB ,S, RB maybe all in that order. i can only hope we add a QB in there, a couple later round guys that i like just as much as the early round guys but still a couple years away…. one day, i promise, one day we will be able to draft best available. this is again not that year.
