FC, to your statement about XL’s opportunities: I agree. There seems to be a lot of online consent about him, always falling to the ground when he catches a ball, or not being able to catch it in general. I think the kid really does have skills and I’ve not commented on him much, he is still raw, but most balls are thrown at his knees, or over his head or behind him. You’re better more polished receivers than a league can adjust to that. XL may be able to, but he doesn’t have the opportunities to because when the ball is thrown his way, he has to dive for it. I honestly don’t feel like he’s had a real fair shake. There are a lot of people who will disagree with this sentiment and say he’s in the NFL that is his chance and opportunity, but if you put him with a Josh Allen or a QB, who can throw a hard ball and pinpoint it, like Caleb Williams, you would see where is skill really lies. Bryce can pinpoint from time to time. I think Bryce is a very talented quarterback, but for college, he is serviceable, but he hasn’t proven to “ the guy” period. The Talking Heads want us to believe that Bryce has shown he’s here to stay, I would say multiple games with fewer than 15 passes completed say otherwise. My issue with Bryce and the reason I’m not saying he’s necessarily done is play calling seems to be atrocious so that leaves up for the question, is it Bryce, is it the game plan, or is it the playcalling?
