ANOTHER O-TACKLE--RASHEED WALKER--AGREED TO TERMS

So this makes TWO O-tackles committed to the Panthers this FA period--although as we all know, nothing is assured until contracts are signed. This guy, Rasheed Walker, is a much better prospect (IMHO) than "Stone" Forsythe. But now we apparently have two new veteran faces to work the O-line - at least until Ekwonu returns. Although, I'm not at all certain that Icky will make it back this year.

Panthers Add Another Tackle to FA "committed" list

Rasheed Walker is a veteran of four years (??) arriving here from the GB Packers...

According to multiple reports, including from NFL Network, the team agreed to terms on a one-year deal with former Packers starter Rasheed Walker.

The 26-year-old Walker started 48 games the last three seasons for the Packers.

He was originally a seventh-round pick out of Penn State in 2022, who only appeared in one game as a rookie. But since then, he has been a key part of a proven offense, and a dependable part of it as well.

I can't believe we're still slinging money around in FA.  ----  Dan must have some more "cap adjustments" to be made....????
