The Panthers have been to the Super Bowl twice.

The Panthers open their regular season this year against the Jacksonville Jaguars -- in Jacksonville.

The Panthers are 4-3 lifetime against the Jags. The last time the Panthers lost to the Jags was in 2007.

The Panthers have OPENED their season twice against the Jags previously and WON both times. Once at home and once at Jacksonville.

The Panthers opened at HOME against the Jags and won  24-23 --- 2003 - Season result = SUPER BOWL

The Panthers opened at Jacksonville and won  20-9  ---  2015  -  Season result = SUPER BOWL

And NOW.....

The Panthers open against the Jags in 2025 at Jacksonville.  Score = TBD --- Season result = TBD

Fun trivia...good find Hobs.

I think the Panthers have a good shot at a W.  Jags have a brand new HC, 1st time D coordinator who has spent only the last 5 years in the NFL. (Their D was a problem last year...anyone know if or how much they have improved?

Our previous head coaches never seemed to get their teams ready very often for the 1st game.  I think Dave will be ready and have the team ready.  I also thing Evero will be ready to see some good play from his defense. He has something to prove this year.

Super Bowl???  That would be a pretty wild dream.  It would feel like we won the SB if we have a winning record, win the division, and win at least 1 playoff game.

Stranger things have happened!  Remember during the 2003 preseason when NOBODY even remotely mentioned the Carolina Panthers as a Super Bowl Team? Yet, there we were.  And, in all fairness, we should have won the danged thing.   Sick

NOT predicting a Super Bowl run.  However, every team over the course of a year that produces a playoff caliber team has to start somewhere. That starting point is at the beginning. You can't win them all without winning the first one.  AND, you can't keep a winning streak alive -- unless you win the NEXT one.

It's all about a winning culture.
