Some love for our rookie kicker

Ryan Fitzgerald nailed the fg's [57 yarder....sweet] and his ko's were the bomb.  Dirty birdies could not handle them. Big part of the win today.  Bryce should take him out to dinner at the nicest restaurant in Charlotte. Hope he gets ST player of the week.

Good play rook!

Man I’m glad they kept him, honestly. I wanted someone newer with a big leg, and this guy was one of the best in College.

He’s got a leg!

Did not mention he made an extra point from 48 yds out.  Hope this guy is our answer.  Great day for sure!

Yep, agreed wholeheartedly! I have been very impressed by the kid so far!

Fitz IS THE BOMB . That extra point, as Lady Panther mentioned felt special

But we need to give some love the the dirty bird kicker as well. Without him we don't get the shutout :)

I honestly felt kinda bad for the kid, the same way I kinda felt bad for that other "Romo" when Luke picked him off two plays in a row

Yeah -- But we certainly have been in that position. On any given game-day.... Sometimes "things" just happen. In golf, its called "the rub of the green". As the saying goes...  "Sometimes you're the hammer, and sometimes you're the nail"

I thought his Kickoffs were the best part of his game. Boy, did he make it tough on the Atlanta returners. He put on a real 'clinic' on how to handle the new kickoff rules.
