FALCONS FIRE ASST COACH MONDAY MORNING AFTER SHUTOUT LOSS TO CAROLINA

Welp.  Somebody had to be their whipping boy, I guess.  I'm glad the Panthers won, but geez, have we EVER seen the Falcons look so bad as they looked yesterday??  Even the previous time we shut them out, they didn't look as lost as yesterday.

This season, however, London has 16 receptions for 159 yards and no touchdowns. Mooney has six catches for 64 yards and McCloud has five catches for 71 yards.

This is illustrative of the Falcons' offense through the first three games: No wide receiver or tight end has caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. The Falcons have only scored one touchdown in their last eight quarters of play from Week 2 to Week 3's shutout loss against the Carolina Panthers last Sunday.

That may have been the worse display of professional football I have ever seen. The Falcons were totally unprepared in all three areas of the game.

This seems to be a trend...lose to Carolina and someone gets fired.

I bet that was a tough decision...other candidates might have been.....
