The Panthers are bringing in three (count 'em - #3) OLBs to look at speculatively today, tomorrow, (sometime RSN..??).

I know it’s mid season, but I’m glad they aren’t being stubborn about our nondescript linebackers. Hoping we find gold where none is seen.
Does anyone know if Hendon Hooker is available this week ? Is he that bad ?
I liked him coming out of Tennessee, but he’d had the injury. After that I haven’t heard much about his attempt to being an NFL QB.
Word on the street is Buffalo is worried. They’d penciled in a W , but after the. Cowboys W, and how we ran over the ‘boys,, people in Buffalo are thinking they aren’t ready for us and are focused on the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series

Good question... I asked the same thing a few days ago. I too liked Hooker coming out. Dude is big 6'3" - 225 (or something like that). Has a strong, live arm and is not afraid of contact. If we can keep him, and we give him some coaching, I think he has some potential. I've heard nothing except what Canales has to say -- he "likes" him and thinks he is "growing" and "hopes he can "Help the team"".
Other than that --- who knows? Not being a 'coach' or a 'GM', I have little to base a guess on, and besides, "What do I know.?? ..."

so , Canales likes him .. sounds reassuring lol. I mean, that means Hooker will get a Christmas card.
I went back and was reading why Detroit cut him originally, and it was pretty much, that he wasn’t catching on to the Pro game. They ( reporters or fans ) liked to say he ran a gimmick offense at Tenn. these were the same reporters and fans who loved him when drafted .
We’ll own buffalo this Sunday. 4 minutes left in the game Panthers Fans NORTH ( buffalo) will be climbing stairs to the exits, while 40k true Keep Pounding Fans are cheering like crazy … awww the good life .
