So...Bryce is a mess at the line and the receivers can't catch.  Somehow I think better QB play could make the receivers look better.

Bryce could have run for a 1st down on that infamous 4th down play near the goaline when he threw a pass to no one.

Maybe Bryce is not the super processor we thought he was.  Looked like a rookie out there.

Maybe there was a purpose in the move to get Hooker. He can get the ball down the field. Put him on the 53.  give him a few plays to run and see what happens.

Come on Dave....shake things up.  Be bold.  Put people in the game with something to prove.  XL dropping passes?...sit his butt...as well as anyone else not giving 100%.I just do not want to see the same old sht, by the same players, pretending like they are doing their job.

Just a quick side note. If you watch college football watch Georgia Tech and QB Haynes King. Not highly rated probably because they run him so much but he has great mechanics , a strong and accurate arm and oh yea he can run. I would wager he will have a great NFL career. After a year or two of adapting.

Happy to see that GT beat Clemson!

Is Hooker actually available this season ?

Let’s hope Bryce’s play improves 1000% this week. If not I don’t see us any better than a year ago in Sept.
Receivers. We kept hearing they were supposed to be able to go up and get those 50/50 balls.. wrong.. no Munson Mohammad / Steve Smiths out there winning battles.

I’m more worried about the defense .

Our offense didn’t do anything last week, but let’s be honest, the defense made them look ok, which is terrible.

Not blaming all of our woes on Bryce, certainly not, but he looked really bad.  It looked like he was lost back there.  While the O-Line was not really protecting him very long, he was not making good decisions - or ANY decisions - to advance the play.  He made a few good throws and handoffs, but there were times that he looked like he had no idea where his receivers were.

Bryce needs to have confidence in knowledge, but he doesn't.  He doesn't seem to know where his receivers are, or where they are supposed to be.  He needs a much quicker release.  He needs to learn anticipation (ie, throw the ball to where your receiver is expected to be and let HIM do his job).  Don't wait to throw the ball until your receiver is out of position or until he is so far down the field that your arm strength can't get the ball to him.

All that, having been said, similar comments could be made for a bunch of players on the roster.

One bright spot is T-Mac.  The kid looks like the real deal.

This is the 3rd year for Bryce.  He may have flashes but is not a starting NFL QB.  Great guy but we have to move on. Dan and Dave going to lose the team pretty soon.

I've only see Haynes Key in a few games,  but I have a number of  U Ga fans that are worried and think he's a lot better than the national media give him..
