Since we know this team doesn't have any consistency. I'd say we have a 50/50 chance to win it.

Not that I think the bucs are better than we are, but I feel if they need to dig deep down, they can.  I don't have that feeling about our growth. We couldn't beat the saints once and in the game last week ,  we  didn't really look good at anything.

I'm all onboard with the refs were awful, and helped the saints in key parts of the game.  But  we had opportunities and looked friggin awful in the 4th qtr. Play calling on both sides of the ball.   That TD drive for the saints where they hit the same receiver for the bucs like 4 times in a row and we were playing off him like he wasn't  threat.  Followed up  by an offensive series that was just as bad as the defensive one.

We've seen us come back from a loss like that with a win. But someone's , eventually going to call  BS on that .

But that's what we have going to be a 50/50 chance..  That we play good every other game.  Like it's our turn.  Yikes.

At least it's a 1 PM game.  I dislike 4 PM games.  ( so do the Panthers, we are not a ready for prime time team.  We lay eggs )

GOOO PANTHERS

What say you  ,  you picking us ?

Since you asked....

We have a three game stretch coming up that will test the mettle. On the surface, I don't really like our odds in any of the three games. Division games are always tough, and the Channel Chickens are playing really well this year. So..... what do we have going for us instead of the gloom and doom.??  Well, we ARE going to play two of the three at home. That should give us a small advantage (on paper..). It usually amounts to about 3 points. But you better believe that neither of these opponents are going to give us anything.!!

Along with the "home field", we have been artificially setting ourselves up for the two games against the Bucs. Since we have been 'alternating' W(s) & L(s), it would seem that we should be OK against the Bucs and should lose to the Hawks (if you put any store in that kind of thing..).  OTOH, if we're being purely intentional, I suspect we might lose all three. Looking at the Bucs and the way they have been playing, it would seem that we could steal a game or two from them. The Seahawks have to play here as well. It won't be easy, but it's doable.

So, I'm going out on a limb here. I'll say we take the first two at home. And the Bucs lose their #2 game to the Dolphins. That scenario will make the last game in Tampa a "non-issue".

Now watch -- We'll lose all three because I opened my mouth...  SMDH

I have put my "Got my hopes riding on this game" in the top of my closet until next year but still holding out hope after hope that we can accidentally trip over something and fall into the endzone more times than the Bucs do!

GO PANTHERS!

Being totally unprepared and swept twice by a very poor NO has done me in. Simply unacceptable, in fact we we not even competitive. This team and organization has a lot
Of growing to do, you have to take care of the basics first. You can’t change the ownership but you can the coaching (possibly front office) and for gosh sakes get a QB. There is absolutely no excuse one can come up with for not controlling our destiny in the NO game. It was child’s play, sorry. Just imo. That is NOT a game a professional team losses. No trap no sneak up just simply not
Prepared for motivated for game.

This team's inability to beat NO is a huge concern.  What does this team do well?  Nothing 2 games in a row.  Feeling good about the game?  No..  Anything good seems to be a surprise.  Morgan has his work out him.  Not just about players....

If we couldn't beat New Orleans or even hold onto the lead, how can we think about beating the Bucs? And you KNOW that Baker Mayfield is going to make a POINT of sticking it to the Panthers on their own home field.

I wish that we could feel confident in the team, but with this on-again, off-again going on, it doesn't leave me with a warm and fuzzy.
