So, what shall we see tonight?   Will the guys on the fringe get a few more chances this evening, or will the starters get the lion's share of the snaps?

I will say.,, that the Bills , Jags, and Texans are formidable foes for the preseason. All are playoff teams from last season. All have very good defenses, and offenses that should be good.
So hopefully we’ll be a better team when the regular season starts in September.

The starters are still licking their wounds from the beating they took a couple of days ago.

Canales already said starters were not playing. There might be one here or there that plays a bit, but this is not a game that means anything. Might solve a position battle ranking or decide who goes on the PS — maybe.??

Where are the announcers ? I can hear the stadium announcers, a little

Evidently, I had the only TV that didn’t have sound from the announcers booth. I could hear the fans in the stadium,, the stadium PA announcer,, couldn’t understand him but could hear him. No play by play. I could see the sidelines lady interviewing players, like Derick Brown, but no sound, just the background noise of the stadium. Even when advertising was on, I couldn’t hear the advertisements, just the stadium background noise.
I switched channels to see the Washington team , and I could hear their announcers., all other channels were normal. Just the Panthers feed.

Anyone have any idea what was going on ?

Really, no idea. Strange, very strange.!!

I was listening to the local (Charlotte) channel, which had Jake Delhomme and Steve Smith, Sr doing the color commentary.  It was pretty neat.

I did not realize just "HOW" long JJ Jansen had been around.  Jake said, "2009 was my last year here, and JJ is the only player still on the team from that year going into the 2026 season that I (and Smitty) actually played on the same team with".
