I just literally have zero idea anymore what to expect from our team.  And, still, I say "GO PANTHERS!"

Been thinking about this one. Falcons opened as the fav at -1.5.  Last few days have the Panthers at -2.5.

As always turnovers a big key.

On offense, I am excited to see what our new boy wonder Idzik calls today. (By the way his daughter was only 2 days old last Sunday.  More about him here:https://www.panthers.com/news/brad-idzik-s-big-weekend-panthers-play-caller-new-dad)
I would like to see more out of the run game and more of Brooks getting passes out of the backfield.  A real bonus would be XL actually catching a pass.

On defense....oh dear.  The defense cannot really be as bad as they looked last week...right?  The players seemed embarrassed and hopefully that was a big time wake up call.  Stay in your lanes and TACKLE!  Evero's seat has to be red hot.  If he can coach...now is the time to show it.

Bryce has played well vs Atlanta. This early in the season, I've got to have hope........

LOL! LP I love the Bojangles one! Big Grin

About the game, the DEFENSE has to seriously step it up this week.

And XL needs to step up or step out of the way. Now, I understand that (for whatever reason) Bryce has been throwing at his feet or over his head, and I don't think anyone could catch a ball like that, but the two of them need to practice together more.

I want to see Mitch Evans used more, the kid is a great blocker and has good hands.

Inactives this week are Pat Jones II, Bobby Brown III,  Ja'Tavion Sanders, emergency third quarterback Haynes King, cornerback Chau Smith-Wade, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, and rookie tackle Albert Reese.

Week 2 Inactives at Atlanta: Pat Jones out for Falcons game

ATLANTA — The Panthers will be without a couple of starters on defense Sunday against the Falcons.

Outside linebacker Patrick Jones II, who was questionable with a back injury, was among the inactives for Week 2.

Jones was listed as questionable on the injury report, and practiced all week on a limited basis. But head coach Dave Canales said they'd take the decision up to Sunday, and that their priority would be a player's long-term health. Jones missed most of last season after having back surgery, but this is a different issue.

Also inactive is defensive tackle Bobby Brown III, who was held out of practice all week with a back issue of his own.

With those absences, Cam Jackson will be active this week, and the rotation of Trevis Gipson, Princely Umanmielen, and Thomas Incoom will continue to work in Jones' spot.

The rest of the inactive list includes tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders, emergency third quarterback Haynes King, cornerback Chau Smith-Wade, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, and rookie tackle Albert Reese.

Much better showing than last week, all my thoughts were in the Shoutbox, as all of you who watch that saw. I'm sure i'll have more as the week goes on, but the O LINE needs to get their crap together, and stop the penalties. another high penalty game for O line. Defense maybe had ONE penalty, maybe.

If you told me that a team with 71 points in two games was 1-1, I would doubt your veracity.

It was a good game with the exception of the freaking PENALTIES!!!!! What the absolute HELL, O-Line???

Oh, that and the part where we were listening to the Bears game during the Panthers at Falcons game.
