I was very young during the late 60's, but my goodness did I love me some muscle cars.

Out of all of them, I think the Camaro from 67 to 69 just killed

Never owned one, but a guy can dream

What was your favorite muscle car?

These are just some random ones from the internet.  All based on my ancient memories, haha

I grew up around guys that had these cars and drove em to school and such.  Me being 7-10 yrs old, I always dreamed I'd be driving one too in a few years.  But, I saved money and went to college.  Every now and then, I think back of the big block motors and smoke boiling out from under the rear fenders.  Just sharing a few of my favorites

I was a bit of a Mopar fanboy back in the day. I'm talking '68--'72 maybe.... I owned a Sport Fury with a wide block and a tri-power intake. It ran pretty good.!! I later looked at a 340 Duster. That Duster was one of the only factory cars that could run with the Hemi's on the strip. Straight out of the showroom it could run low 13's with stock tires (as long as you could get it to hook up..). Pretty much the same times that the Hemi cars would run (out of the showroom..!!). Later investments into the Hemi would give it an advantage because of the cubes.

in the early 70's I ditched the Mopars and built a 1968 Chev. El Camino. It had an original H.O. 327 in it. I added a small cam on the rebuild and a Corvette F.I. intake. Along with some headers (Hooker..I think..???) and a larger diameter exhaust... It ran very nice, breathed good, and sounded nice too.!! Added Hi-Jacker air lift shocks, and Goodrich 60 series TA's on the back and I could usually get it to hook  up. Not too much on the local streets could touch it. I ran into a couple of modded Chevelle's and one Road Runner that could blow me away, but for the most part I was king of the street .... for awhile..!!

Those were the days.... !!
