Wow.... Well, that didn't last all that long.   At least we won't have to defend against him twice a season.  :whistling:

I kinda hate that they admitted it was a mistake so quickly.  It was going no where good and I was hoping that would last for a while.

Even when AP was good, he was bad. He would rip through three quarters of a big game, and in the fourth quarter, you knew it was coming. Never failed. The AP Fumble. Patented. Industry Standard. Guaranteed.

Bless his heart.  He looked so miserable with the Saints.

I saw a PC with him today at the Cards facility and he was smiling from ear to ear.  He didn't even know he'd been traded until a friend called him and he looked at the media and saw it (as the Liberty Mutual Insurance commercial would say....He broke into his happy dance!!)  LOL   He couldn't wait to get away from the Saints!!

I'm a little like 007 on this one.... He had the potential to be a real headache for us. If the Saints feel they can't use him, then I'm happy he went somewhere else.!!  The Cardinals will definitely use him. They just got ride of one of the Johnsons about a month ago (Chris Johnson..) and now David Johnson is out with surgery on a wrist that is expected to keep him sidelined for a couple of months.  Looks like AP just fell into a home..... with a team that needed him.!!

I still find it a little amusing that the Cardinals switched their Johnson for a Peterson.  :whistling:

We owned Peterson any time we played the Vikings. Not scared of AP. I think it is great though that the Saints traded him to a team that was able to utilize him to hand one of their division opponents a loss.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but AP has proven himself time and again over the years. Granted he hasn't hurt US too badly, but you know what they say, "different time, different place" (different team..??).  He worries me because I have SEEN him go off in many games against MANY different teams. It's just a matter of time. Give him enough chances and he WILL get you.

I'm happy that he has a home (at least for now..) and that we don't have to face him in our division. Since he is not going to play for us, I will breathe easier when he retires....

And yes, I hope that both the Saints and the Falcons have to face him and that he puts a whoopin on 'em.   :Chuckle2:
