The Carolina offensive line ranks as the 2nd best in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus:
Both Kalil and Williams improving as the season has gone on has attributed greatly to the recent success of the offense. First 3 games Kalil did not look so great. Over the past two weeks, Kalil has allowed 0 sacks and only 2 QB pressures. If he stays healthy, I'd say Gettleman made the right move bringing in the young man. He can protect Cam's blindside for quite some time compared to some of the geezer options like Whitworth that were out there.
From an LT standpoint, Kalil's deal wasn't as bad as people were blasting it for. As long as they stay healthy (with the addition of Ryan Kalil getting healthy), the O-line has nowhere to go but up as they continue to build chemistry.
It'll be tough to keep Norwell, but we'll see what happens. Benjamin is up for a new contract too.
