He was a try-hard linebacker at Virginia Tech, who suffered a torn ACL late in 2008, keeping him out of the Orange Bowl and delaying his shot at a pro camp.

I have been one of the few that advocates keeping Fox and getting rid of Hurney. If the NFL teaches you one thing... it's to adapt and change. While I like his philosophy on big physical offensive linemen, the lack of pedigree in his QBs will be his undoing.
This new signee (if he makes roster) looks like special teams to me where we need a great improvement.
