Honestly, I thought turning 25 two months into the year would create new bridges and bring people into my life, but it never happened. I didn't like this year at all. I wanted to : get a FT job, improve my fitness and health, find a girlfriend, and push into a new direction in life. Instead, I suffered a rare ear infection, an eye injury, but find out medically that my health is not where it should be. (I'm 5'11-6', 270 lbs) Failing to find a FT job was the icing on the cake.
What were your goals of 2011 and did you accomplish any of them?

Can't say that I made set any goals for 2011. I only wanted to survive. Money was crazy tight at the first of the year, my wife was unemployed, and we were thinking we might have to move to Nebraska to live in her parent's basement for a year or two to get caught up on bills. But she ended up getting a seasonal job in the summer and once the season was over, she found another job and I finally get a raise and a promotion at my job so things are looking up.

Well, I am very proud of my past year. I have gotten married, established a family, made new friends, and kept a job that I had no intention of going through with. To top it all off, My wife is now pregnant and I am loving life at the moment!

Congrats! Didn't make any goals, never do. I just try to always remember to enjoy life and not let little stuff bother me for too long.

I finally achieved my goal: convining my husband to use his gi bill (post 9/11 one) and go to college so he can get a better job. His first class starts this evening 1/10/12
