HAYNES KING! WHAT A STUD!

I’m sure most of you have seen Haynes King suffered a hamstring injury at some point.
Hopefully he’ll be back soon ..we know how hamstrings can be.

I heard that, too.  Hopefully it's just something minor and he can get back out there as soon as possible.  Coach says he will be week to week, but definitely wont play in the next preseason game.  

That having been said, Kenny had better start eating his Wheaties or he might find himself as the odd man out.  QB Kyle Trask (who they signed yesterday) is a decent quarterback.  He was a second round pick by the Bucs in 2021.  He had a shoulder injury in last year's preseason, and lost his job to Teddy Bridgewater. He was later released by the Bucs and picked up by the Falcons, so he knows his way around the NFC South.

Never been a Kenny fan.  That being said. IMO, Trask is just a camp arm.

If The King's hammy heals soon, Kenny better watch out.  He let 2 rookies outplay him Thurs.

Hope XL shows King how to "bullet proof" those hammys.

Should Haynes be able to get back out there next week,, play like he did against Arizona,, I think he’s got a good chance to make the team.
His contract would be so small. Guaranteed $250,000 . While Picketts will be over $1,200,000 and possibly more.

Now if Kenny is deemed light years ahead of Haynes due to his NFL experience,, then a million dollars isn’t a huge deal.

I’m partial to King since I already liked him at Ga Tech.
( and last week it felt like he won us the Superbowl in a preseason game lol )

I just hope we find a way to keep him on the 52 man roster. He won't last on the practice squad. I would just love to see him playing with the ones.
