Kenny Pickett has had a good pre-season. Maybe a lot better than everyone realizes. I'm NOT talking about PFF ratings here. Sorry folks ... I just don't put all of my eggs in the PFF basket. Numbers are great ... up to a point. One of those points is the algorithm they use to develop their measurements. WE (the great unwashed) know little or nothing about how they arrive at their numbers. So... there's that...
Anyway, Pickett has been effective on the field and I'm happy that we have him. I think I'll do a journalism.....(maybe). Comparisons are always fun.!!
I have never been a huge fan of Kenny Pickett, but IMHO he has (in the few short games) looked better than Andy Dalton ever was while here. Don't get me wrong, I liked Andy. He was good for Bryce and good for the Team, but he never really looked prepared when he had to come into the game.
I've been converted (again, in his short playing time) to becoming a big fan of Haynes King, and I'm glad to see his name still on the active roster (at least at this point). Hope it remains there.
